Individual Reiki Session

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy practice that inspires a sense of balance and well-being. When your life force energy flows freely, you feel more grounded, clear, and at ease. When it’s blocked or depleted, you may feel stress, tension, and disconnection.

Why choose Reiki?

People choose Reiki for a variety of reasons.

You may benefit from a session if you are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected (from your body, emotions, etc.)

  • Moving through emotional change, stress, or transition

  • Curious about Reiki or energy work and open to receiving

  • Drawn to gentle support that honors your own inner awareness

  • Craving rest, clarity, or a deeper sense of alignment

During a session

You’ll be welcomed into a space designed to set your mind and body at ease with tea, a calm atmosphere, and meditative music. We’ll spend the first few minutes talking about your needs or intentions. 

For the majority of the time, you’ll lie down fully clothed on a massage table and be made as comfortable as possible to foster relaxation.

Using light touch or working just above the body, I will invite Reiki energy to flow and create space for your experience. You may feel warmth, tingling, emotionals arising, deep relaxation, or simply a sense of peace. Some people feel sensations in their body and others feel very little in the moment. All of it is normal.

After a session

Your experience may continue to unfold after the session ends. You may feel more grounded and clear, deeply relaxed, emotionally lighter, or energized. You may also feel heaviness or exhaustion. Many people understand these as part of how they experience and respond to the session. 

You might notice subtle shifts over the next few days - new insights, reflecting on emotions, random memories, or a greater sense of alignment.

To support the process, it helps to:

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Rest if your body asks for it

  • Allow emotions or thoughts to pass without judgment

  • Avoid over-scheduling if possible

Trust what unfolds and allow yourself time and space to integrate.

Ongoing support

While a single session can offer meaningful rest and clarity, a consistent rhythm can offer a deeper sense of support over time. Just like tending the body with regular movement or nourishment, energetic wellness benefits from steady care.
